This service is ideal for those who want to add substantial length to their natural nails - see more about this service below! Pre-formed soft-gel tips soak off in acetone like gel polish. Includes: nail shaping, cuticle care, hydrating massage, gel polish application with 7 day guarantee. Nail art can be booked separately. Removal must be booked if you need removal of prior Gel-X or gel polish. Please do not cut your nails very short before coming in for your appointment - the more surface area the extensions have to sit on the better they will adhere and stay on the nails.

ACRYLIC REMOVAL THERAPY: $75
Removal of acrylic nails includes soak off & buffing, followed by exfoliation, nail shaping, and polish application on the natural nail, cuticle oil application. Gel polish available upon request for an additional fee. Please note, we can not remove hard gel as we do not use an electric drill on fingernails. We also do not apply acrylic nails.
NOTE REGARDING GEL SOAK OFFS/REMOVALS: For any gel manicure applied at other salons or with our “Express Gel” service, the charge for Gel Removal/Soak Off is $12 and should be booked as a service to account for the time needed to remove the gel. To remove SNS Powder Dip, the charge is $30 as we do not use drills - we use the slightly more time and labor intensive process of soaking with acetone and hand filing - this protects the health of the natural nail. Please select the service called “Dip Powder Removal.” We do not remove hard gel product as we do not use drills on fingernails and hard gel is not acetone soluble.
MORE ABOUT GEL EXTENSIONS: Gel-X Extensions are used to give clients a look with substantial added length. Because of this, please be aware that we do not cut down the gel extensions - instead, there are pre-made sizes and shapes ranging from extra short to long for you to select from. Gel-X Extensions are pre-fitted to the natural nail shape you already have and may not be the best fit if you have extremely wide nail beds or very flat nail beds. If this sounds like you, please call the salon to come in to get fitted in order to see it you would be a candidate. They do fit most people just fine! Also please be aware that Gel-X are best applied when the nails have some natural length to them, please do not cut your nails very short before coming in for your appointment, the more surface area the extensions have to sit on the better they will adhere and stay on the nails.

Detox your feet with our Dazzle Dry Detox Pedicure including dry brushing! Begins with intense heel and callus exfoliation with the electric file, followed by circulation-increasing dry brushing of the lower leg and calf (PLEASE WEAR LOOSE OR STRETCH PANTS!), an inflammation-reducing Epsom salt soak, nail shaping, cuticle care, hand file foot exfoliation, sugar scrub, softening mask, relaxing massage, Dazzle Dry polish of choice, and alpha hydroxy heel finishing lotion.

Cost: This service is in addition to a Gel Manicure, please only book it as an add on. Price starts at $65 for the full set of art on 10 nails PLUS $6/5 minutes past the hour of service time allotted. Price will be discussed between nail tech and client at the start of service. If a client books this service but then decides on a lesser nail art tier at the time of service, the Custom Nail Art Price must still be paid because the service is so long.
Design: Examples of custom nail art designs include photo or character replication. Upon booking this service, please email your inspiration photos to hello@buffandfile.com and reference your appointment date. If we do not receive inspiration photos, we will make every effort to reach you to obtain them. Inspiration photos are strongly recommended for best results.
Staff: This service may only be booked with the same nail tech who is providing your Gel Manicure service. If the Gel Manicure service is booked with a different tech from who is providing the Custom Nail Art, the appointment may be canceled.
